It is always said that what we learn in our educational institutes is different from the learning we need in the corporate world. Lack of sharing knowledge is an unexplored aspect of the corporate world.
It is a major concern as many companies lost a heavy amount of money because of that. As no startup particularly targeting that issue, Mr. Aman Sharma, founder of Vneda started up to solve this problem.
We had a great interview with Mr. Aman Sharma, in which he told us about his achievements, challenges, and some more aspects. Check out the full interview below.
How will you Introduce Yourself to the world?
Learning is an integral part of growing. I aspire to continue and keep crafting my passions: Building Products and be a leader who leads by example. I am a Computer Science graduate who has an interest in developing something new and innovative.
Tell your readers about your achievements till today (Be Honest)!!
I have developed many B2B and B2C products in the last seven years. 100000+ users across India used my developed products along with corporations like BNY Mellon (iNautix), Mahindra, Axis, HDFC, Samsung, etc.
Tell us about your start-up!
Vneda is created with a vision to construct an ecosystem of shared knowledge. There is no single platform that caters to all the learning needs of an organization, and Vneda is the solution. Vneda is a corporate learning solution that targets learning, development, knowledge management, and knowledge sharing among organizations and their employees.
It provides an intra-connected social platform for employees. It empowers them to collect, communicate, share, and store knowledge securely. Also, Vneda offers a wide range of curated content at one disposal.
“What’s the most important thing you’re working on right now, and how are you making it happen?
We are currently working on our startup Vneda. The team is working to achieve a larger goal to create the knowledge management & sharing culture in all communities. But at present, we are focusing on our ideal target audience and eyeing to close 100 corporate by the end of this year and become profitable.
What’s your take on your segmented/targeted Market?
We may change our targeted market in the future, but for now, our target market includes corporate organizations and their HR and talent managers.
What are the challenges you have faced, and what are the current challenges? Mention the top three challenges for both.
When we started our journey, our biggest challenge was to get clients, and in the present, it is to get funds is
- Getting Investment
- Getting new clients
- Awareness about our product
Why have you started up? Be specific with your reasons!!
While researching and validating the problem, I came across published studies that indicated the magnitude of the problem. According to a study published by the International Data Corporation (IDC), market intelligence and advisory firm, Fortune 500 companies lose roughly $31.5 billion a year by failing to share knowledge. That’s a lot of money that could otherwise be spent on employee development, bonuses, and countless other business needs.
Despite these facts and enormity of the problem, it was pretty clear during my research that this problem was more or less unexplored in India.
Where do you want to see yourself in the next five years?
I would like to see myself as a successful CEO of our successful startup.
Please share your learning for fellow Entrepreneurs?
I am not a big entrepreneur to give “gyaan” to my fellow entrepreneurs as they all are doing great in their domain. But what I would like to convey that I learned from my experience is: Make or break, just don’t stop as we all are in a pool of endless opportunities with limited time.
Mr. Aman Sharma is looking for investors for Vneda to keep on going and grow in the market.
