SevenVentures startup competition was born in 2009. As part of digitization, many new business models lacked capital. This is where the SevenVentures team comes in:
A flexible investment model consisting of minority shareholdings and media cooperations should offer young companies the support they need. In return for individual capital (media for equity) or revenue sharing ( media for revenue) companies receive a package of financial resources, advertising time and numerous other services. Opportunities and risks are thus shared. In 2015 alone, they used more than 500 hours of advertising time to currently support more than 60 companies with their success story. They have already accompanied companies such as Zalando, Lieferando, Shopkick or Küchen Quelle with MediaPower, capital, and extensive know-how on their way to market leadership.
This startup competition is organized by the venture capital SevenVentures and is held every month. What makes this European-based startup competition unique is that it focuses on each monthly competition that focuses on a specific niche or field.
